Samantha L. Calmes is a vocalist, producer, multi-instrumentalist, and the founder of MELT (Mindful Expressions, Listening, Together) — a community-rooted program that blends music, art, and mindfulness to inspire confidence and self-expression in children and teens. Drawing inspiration from Becoming Supernatural by Dr. Joe Dispenza, Samantha integrates age-appropriate meditations into her teaching, helping young people tune into their energy, imagination, and creative power.

Samantha is also a skilled portrait photographer, painter, event producer, and curator, with a passion for photography that stands equal to her love for music. With over 15 years of experience as a singer-songwriter and pianist, and 10 years as a voice teacher, she brings both artistry and depth to her work. Her background includes advancing on American Idol 2013, and, after several failed auditions, she buckled down and committed to pursuing her craft with even greater dedication. She also has experience working in Recreation Therapy, where she used music and art as tools for wellness, and now plans to cultivate the same type of supportive, creative environment within her group classes.

A master alchemist, Samantha is here to show others how to transmute darkness into light. She believes deeply in the power of meditation and hopes to inspire a community of dreamers who not only awaken to their creative potential, but also take it one step further — into full awareness of their power. Through MELT and her private voice studio, she creates vibrant, welcoming spaces where every voice is celebrated. Her mission is to empower students of all ages to discover their voice, unlock their creativity, and express themselves with confidence.
